About This Resource
This high-resolution background asset features a dark, distressed frame design reminiscent of old film negatives, vintage photographs, and retro photo plates. The deep charcoal and black tones are complemented by organic scratches, grain, dust particles, and vignetted edges that naturally pull the focus toward the center of your canvas.
Designed with versatility in mind, this texture works seamlessly as a standalone background or as an overlay effect. When applied using blending modes such as Screen, Lighten, Overlay, or Soft Light in editing software like Adobe Photoshop, it instantly transforms modern digital images into authentic retro visual art.
